Hadrian's Villa

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Villa Adriana is the quintessential Roman imperial villa. Commissioned by Emperor Hadrian as a summer residence, its construction began around 118 AD and took more than 20 years to complete. Its size is impressive: 120 hectares, developed among parks, water sources, and buildings, including theaters, libraries, and baths. A timeless wonder.
